A translation of an Urdu poem of Sachin
I saw the whole world
From far and from near
Whatever beauty I saw
The fitting ugliness was there
How strange are these
Two colors in life
One is dark, the other is white
I studied people closely
I looked into their hearts closely
I peeped into their heads closely
Then I pondered: O God
What’s this your godliness!
Seeing your godliness
Sometime I feel sorrow
Sometime I feel happiness
Again I pondered: O God
What’s this your godliness!
To some you gave brains of donkeys
To others you gave brains of gods
